So we made into St. Johns, I don't really remember in what order some of these pictures are but I think this was Thursday after the wedding. Shanny and I were looking particularily relaxed. Putting a few back I suspect.

I haven't been able to sit down and detail the remainder of the trip. I particularily like the pictures from the latter part of the trip because they are mostly of people.

I don't know how we managed but somehow Glen and I never got back from the bar until 5:30. Had a good time though.

What a trip it is to run into old friends. Not that I had to go this far to see Shanny but it's always good to see him, especially here.

No one I know can say anything bad about Glenn Antle. It was a pleasure to be here on his proudest day. You can tell when I am typing with a bit of a buzz on, sentances get a little cornier than usual. I wish we all had of had a chance to sit down and play guitar. I'd like to say it will happen, but I can't imagine when we will all have another chance to get together. We didn't get to see much of them, they were obviously pretty busy, but going here is better than visiting Texas in my books so maybe Meredith and I will chance across them on the island again some day.

We were lucky enough to have had Glenn and Michelle up to our house in McCleod Hill the previous year from Texas. It was a great honour for him to have come all that distance and to have him stay with us. It was an awesome week. And it made this event that much more special because we had a good chance to meet Michelle. She saw us at our best and she seemed to fit into it all very naturally. I think Glenn is lucky enough to have the same thing I do which is a great girl that offers him the key to a good life.

I love this picture, I coached it. I like to call it Dirty Glen because he's a little less Harry than he used to be.

This is not the best picture of Meredith but it's a great picture :) Even given the situation she managed to smile and enjoy whereas this situation would easily severely stress some women out. I remeber loving it cause she was a little bit out of character. Shes usually very calm and collective but she was geared to make sure the packing and travel to the ferry happened.

Glen and I stumbled into the hotel around 5:30, which was about time we had to leave to catch the ferry so Meredith took control and coordinated the remainder of the departure, loaded up and she drove the Pontiac to the terminal as Glen and I were both safely over the legal limit.

I was impressed too cause she drove the Pontiac hard.

We all tried to make ourselves comfortable for the 12 hour ferry ride back to the mainland. Fortunately Campbell and I hadn't slept the evening before so pretty much anything would do.

Nice shot of the rear of the ferry.

I was thankfull the brakes gave out towards the end of the trip. I know Glen thinks a lot of that car, but I'm not so sure.

I will give it credit in hindsight, we survived and it carried us through the best trip I've ever been on.

Also in hindsight I wish I had of gotten more pictures of Glenn and Michelle, they are the whole reason we took the trip. Thanks to them for having us.

And to Glen Campbell, thanks for coming with Meredith and I. I have no doubt we would have had a great trip across the island on our own and you helped to make it all that much better. See you at the next wedding :)
